Applications Support Technician
Department: Operations
Reports to: Applications Manager

The Applications Specialist is the subject matter expert on key nGenX applications products. This person will administer these applications, working closely with vendors to ensure and promote effectiveness in every software solution. This position also provides Tier 3 support to customers, assisting customer support as necessary. nGenX is committed to hiring from within and gives first priority for promotion to those candidates who have first proven themselves as an Applications Specialist.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Assist in the needs analysis, selection, and architecture of software applications in the promotion of all company products.
• Subject matter expert on assigned application products, performing installation, maintenance, and other administrative duties as necessary.
• Provide Tier 3 support to customers and end users as assigned, assisting Applications Support Technicians and other Operations team members as needed.
• Work with Operations to maintain accurate hardware and software inventory and proper procedural documentation.
• Adhere to and support all company standards and policies in conjunction with the guidelines provided by Operations.
• Execute projects and other assigned duties, adjusting priorities as demand may dictate, and effectively communicating project status of all assignments to company leadership.
• Maintain proficiency in field of expertise by remaining knowledgeable and current with technologies directly and indirectly related to primary responsibilities.
• Work flexible schedule, occasionally outside standard business hours to complete duties and to minimize impact to customers and end users.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Training/Experience:
• 5 or more years experience in a large enterprise or service provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong in depth knowledge of architecture, and administrative experience with current Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Exchange, Office, and Citrix XenApp.
• Strong in depth knowledge of architecture, as well as administrative and development experience with at least two of the follow Microsoft application environments: SQL, SharePoint, & Dynamics CRM.
• Experience working in current virtualization environments including Microsoft Hyper-V and Vmware.
• Understanding and working knowledge of networking in a TCP/IP environment.
• Cisco, LAMP or Mac experience, and/or technical certifications are a plus.

Sales Engineer

nGenX is looking for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to help lead our expansion in the Chicago area. As a member of the Technical Sales Engineering team, the Technical Sales Engineer interacts directly with clients and other members of the nGenX team to design and implement cloud technology solutions to meet today’s business challenges. The Technical Sales Engineer will have a high level of cloud computing understanding and be the customer interfacing expert.
The ideal candidate for this position will provide both technical presales support to the direct Sales Team and prospects and provide some Post Sales deployment services. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will have a wealth of experience and knowledge in IT solutions in areas surrounding virtualization and cloud computing. You must have the ability to architect and present the products and solutions provided by nGenX. The Technical Sales Engineer will have a fairly well balanced level of technology experience and a solid understanding of current technology trends. They should also possess a history of working with sales teams to architect and present competitive solutions. This position will eventually develop into managing a team of Sales Engineers.

Account Executive
Department: Sales

The Account Executive will be expected to prospect for new clients to meet revenue goals. You should be able to understand the solution sales process and be able to accurately position and articulate the value proposition to each prospect. The right candidate for this position will be a technology savvy hunter who will be able to take ownership of their region to develop new business.
The Account Executive's day-to-day activities will include, but will not be limited to:
• Prospecting for new clients to meet revenue goals.
• Understanding and accurately employing the solution sales process.
• Clearly articulating the cloud-based value proposition
• Achieve and exceed established monthly sales quotas.
• Teaming with engineering, account management, marketing and related support staff to ensure end-to-end client sales and satisfaction.
• Complying with nGenX’s standards and policies related to documentation, reporting, travel and related administrative activities.
• Working independently, but also work effectively as a part of a team.
• Have a solid understanding of hosted IT solutions.
• Must possess a strong technical aptitude and sharpened analytical skills.
• Possesses a professional and “can do” attitude.
• Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota goals.
• Must understand the solution sales process and practice it out of philosophy.
• Have proven skills to engage with, develop and close C-level prospects.
